NOTICE
To make our S.A.L. and Auxiliary storage lockers in our back room available for rent, the Post must have an accurate inventory of each locker and who rents it. Since the Post reopened in January, we have been documenting members and their locker number. If you have given us your locker number, no further action is needed at this time. If you have not, you must give us your locker number by August 31, 2022.
On September 1, 2022, any locker not claimed will have its lock removed and its contents emptied. Once this has been completed, available lockers will be rented, starting with the waiting list that has been started since our reopening in January. Members wishing to be place on the waiting list may do so at the Post in person only. The cost of lockers will be $12 per year, due January 31 of each year. Lockers rented later in the year will be prorated at $1 per month. Lockers may no longer be “paid up for life.” If a member has previously had a locker that was “paid up for life,” locker rent will start on September 1, 2022.

The Auxiliary asks that you encourage the American Legion Family to please donate needed supplies for the Troop Support Boxes. Lists of needed supplies have been widely distributed and a supply donation box prominently placed in the Legion hall. Once a year the Auxiliary endeavors to send our community service members a Christmas package from home to show our appreciation. This year the Auxiliary will bake 50 dozen homemade cookies to go along with the supplies. The supply items are not expensive and can be easily purchased at a local store and are truly appreciated by our service members.
