Help us pressure the VA to improbe their service to shore residents:

I received a call this AM from a local Congressman's office requesting information on Post 56's CBOC Project.

Is there any way that you can get the word out to ALL of the ESVA American Legion Posts'  that Post 56 is collecting information on the following information:

  • Missed VA appointments due to travel time or distances involved with travel to a VA facility.
  • Utilizing the Pocomoke CBOC but having to travel to Cambridge or Baltimore, MD for specialized treatments or testing (i.e. Hearing tests, heart issues, dental etc.).
  • Required to use someone else's transportation to attend a  treatment or appointment at the Hampton or Baltimore VA Hospital Facility.
  • Any additional problems utilizing the VA facilities in the State of VA.

This information will be complied and used by Post 56 to further complete our CBOC Project for the ESVA.

I will provided this information to the people we are working with locally and nationally for their usage.

Basically we are looking for the Legionaries to submit 3-4 sentences on the problems they are encountering with the VA or these Veteran's Health Choice Cards.

They can mail their responses directly to me at since I'm the POC for the Post 56 CBOC Project.
